Hello, I'm Isaac Berlin

I'm a computer science student at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities, currently completing a B.S. in Computer Science (May 2025) and continuing into an M.S. in Computer Science (May 2026). I’m passionate about Artificial Intelligence and its real-world applications. Specifically, I enjoy working with Computer Vision, Natural Language Processing, Reinforcement Learning, and Data Engineering. I’ve consistently made the Dean’s List and actively contribute to a variety of technical clubs, including the ML/AI Club, Gopher Hack Cybersecurity Club, and UMN Linux Club.

I have a wide array of experience in both research and software applications. I have worked with cutting-edge technologies like YOLO, Detection Transformers, and ROS. More details about my project expierence can be found in the projects page, where I have detailed a few of my favorite projects. Each project contains a brief description, the technologies used, a link to the code, and the results of the project.

My industry experience spans both large-scale enterprise environments and fast-paced academic infrastructure. As an Application Developer Intern at L3Harris Technologies, I built automation tools to support Windchill PDMlink system maintenance, developed company-wide deployment scripts, and improved internal server infrastructure. At the University of Minnesota CSE-IT department, I served as a Student DevOps Admin, managing a fleet of over 1000 lab and server machines. I worked directly with data center hardware, handled OS upgrades, and resolved a wide range of system-level support tickets.
